Know what you are eating and where it comes from!

We are a small farm in Gepp, Arkansas. Bob has been raising cattle for over 40 years . We switched to totally Grass Fed and Finished about 15 years ago.  Our goal is to supply beef that you can trust to taste good, and be good for you. We use no antibiotics or hormones on the beef you buy, and best of all, it won't be full of  the "solution" which is so prevalent in the beef you find at your local grocery store.  When you eat our beef, we think you will be able to see the difference immediately.
​We want to supply you with a wholesome product that you can trust.
Be sure your "grass fed beef" is also "grass finished". All beef is grass fed at one point, so retailers can say it is "grass fed", but it needs to be GRASS FINISHED to be truely natural and totally free of additives. 
 

Are they Angus?

.Our mother cows have been raised on our farm with strong Angus influence. However , we have found that Angus are bred for the feedlot and do not perform as well on an all grass diet. We have added South Poll  bulls, a breed more favorable to grass feeding and finishing. So far, so good!

What's new from Sweetwater Farm?

We are now able to sell USDA inspected meat. It is frozen and vacuum sealed. You can get select cuts or hamburger.  A great option for those who cannot use a  1/4 or 1/2 or whole beef. You can order individual cuts anytime of year by calling us. 

Cattle

 Our cattle live well.  They roam over 600 acres of beautiful green pastures, the way cattle want to live,  They eat the best grass we can grow so that you can eat the best beef available. They are never mistreated.  We sell beef by the 1/4, 1/2, and whole direct from the farm, straight to your freezer.​ To order call us. 870-458-2405

​Where can you buy our beef?

Look for us at the Farmer's Market on 5th Street in Mountain Home, AR. We'll be there on  Saturday mornings.  You can call us ahead of time to be sure we will have what you want and we will bring your order to the Market.  You can also buy It at the ​Mountain Home Berry Farm, and in Viola, at Grow Smart Feed.
